Project 1 : Case Study on Acoustic Design
This module introduces us to building acoustics in relation to building design and construction. In a group of 7, we chose Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur as our case study building to analyze the building acoustics properties, sound absorption materials, sound propagation, reverberation time, etc.. Grateful for the opportunity to visit Shantanand Auditorium and briefing given by explainer on the properties of a good auditorium design.

This assignment is a studio integration project which require us to demonstrate understanding of the principles of lighting design. It will encompass on artificial and daylighting design strategies (PSALI) in the final design. We are required to choose two significant spaces of our studio project to apply the theories.
